Meet the Founder

An Investment in You.

An Investment in You.

Life can be overwhelming.  Family, career, money, health, needs, dreams, and goals.  You have decided you no longer want to handle it all alone.  You want a guide who listens to you, hears your concerns, and understands your needs.

I provide clear, relatable advice to support your sound decisions.  As your fiduciary in advisory relationships, I am open and independent, investing in your best interest.  Transparency is my promise to you. My job is to educate and explain in plain, clear language, so you and your family understand the why and the how.

Working with me is an investment in you:  your financial well-being, your future, your happiness.  I walk with you, guiding you along your financial journey, bringing clarity and action so you can start living the life you desire.

I am passionate about helping others live the life they desire, and I strive to create confidence in my clients' financial journey. I take pride in offering financial planning that covers everything from retirement income to investment advice, all tailored to an individual's needs and goals.  My approach is about empowering you with the knowledge to make smart, informed decisions for a healthier financial future.

My journey started with a degree in Accounting from East Carolina University in 1989.  I began my career as an Internal Auditor with the Federal Government for the first six years.  Then, I worked as a Commercial Lender and City Executive in Banking for the next 22 years.  In 2018, I decided to focus my life on helping others navigate their financial path—and joined Prudential to become a wealth advisor.

Outside of work, I am deeply connected to my community.  I have served as President of the University-City Kiwanis Club of Greenville, NC, and the Rotary Club of Farmville, along with various roles with the Farmville Chamber of Commerce.  I am married to Mary, and together we have raised two wonderful children, Will and Emily.
